Shareware is software you can download and use for free on a temporary basis. If you like it, you can pay a small fee to continue using it. Freeware is software distributed without license fees that anyone can use for free.
We've compiled a list of some of the most popular, as well as some of the most useful, shareware and freeware we've come across. We've included everything from Web browsers and e-mail programs to graphic and multimedia applications. We've also thrown in system utilities and print drivers that will help ensure efficient completion of your next project with us.

PRINT SPECS:
All documents should include a minimum of 1/8" bleed.
Rules (lines) should be not less than .3pt
PDFs:
•Must be Press Ready (images 300 dpi & lineart 800 or higher) all fonts should be embedded or converted to outline type
4 COLOR (ENRICHED) BLACKS:
•Any black areas larger than .5" X .5" should be made 4 color (40% cyan, 30% magenta, 30% yellow, 100% black)
FONTS:
• Please submit ALL fonts (both screen and printer fonts) used in the document on disk.
• All fonts should be embedded or converted to outline type
GRAPHICS:
• Any art placed on a document should be saved in either TIFF or EPS format.
• Please avoid JPEG, PICT, CT, etc.
• When saving in EPS format Please avoid saving with JPEG encoding
• Flatten all placed Photoshop files
• 4-color art should be saved in CMYK format only. Please no RGB, Indexed Color, etc.
• Black & White art should be saved as Grayscale and line art should be saved as BITMAPPED.
ALL SUPPORTING ART SHOULD BE INCLUDED ON THE DISK
• Even art placed inside another program such as Adobe Illustrator.
• Photos should be 300 DPI Please note: (scaling up photos lowers resolution!!)
• Line art/vector images should be at least 800 DPI
PROOFS & COMPOSITIONS:
• Please provide a complete hard copy proof including all text and artwork.
• Please notate all color information including any spot colors if applicable. Providing a color proof (laser or other suitable replication) will ensure a more accurate reproduction.
• WE HAVE A 48 HOUR TURNAROUND - 48 Hours from job submission to first proof.
